Complibuild began as Industry Best Construction (IBC), created by waterproofing consultant and educator Byron Landeryou — 25+ years in the industry, and more than 3,500 students taught Australia-wide.

Why Complibuild exists

When I was on-the-tools I wish I’d known what I know now. These issues could have been easily avoided with the right system.

More recently, I noticed the construction industry moving towards tighter regulations and it is not hard to see that the waterproofing industry will be next. Cowboys and administrative complacency will not be tolerated.

That’s why I created Industry Best Construction (IBC). I am one hundred percent confident that IBC will become the most relied-on tool in the waterproofing industry.

The course overall was very informative and well-presented. I learned a lot about applying AS3740-2021 and understanding the NCC 2022. There was a lot to take in, but by reviewing the recordings frequently, I'm sure I'll gain a greater understanding and ability to assess works onsite for better compliance and long-term builds.
